Teamwork Series

HERD: Harmonised. Engaged. Resilient. Dynamic

H.E.R.D. - Working Together.

What if your team could learn how to function like a herd — instinctively attuned, mutually respectful, adaptive, and united by a shared goal?

Welcome to H.E.R.D., a hands-on series of equine-facilitated workshops designed specifically for teams. While our L.E.A.D. program focuses on individual leadership development, H.E.R.D. takes a different path — one rooted in collaboration, shared leadership, and relational intelligence. This is team building at its most grounded, most honest, and most impactful.

In a horse's herd, everyone has a role — and those roles shift depending on context, energy, and need. It’s not about hierarchy, but about harmony. There is leadership, yes — but it’s flexible, fluid, and earned through trust, clarity, and a calm presence. Horses survive by working together, responding to subtle cues, and respecting the space and signals of others. In short, they model exactly what high-performing teams aim for in the workplace.

Through a series of guided, interactive activities with horses (no riding involved), your team will experience:

  • Embodied teamwork — not just talking about collaboration, but feeling what it takes to move together with awareness and purpose.

  • Mutual respect and non-verbal communication — horses require clear, respectful interaction. They don’t respond to status or chatter, but to calm confidence and consistent behaviour.

  • Real-time feedback — horses show you the moment team dynamics shift, trust is earned or lost, or mixed messages arise. It’s instant, honest, and completely non-judgemental.

  • Shared leadership — teams learn how to support and follow one another when it’s appropriate, and how to step forward when the moment calls for it.

The H.E.R.D. experience strengthens emotional intelligence, deepens trust, and unlocks a deeper level of understanding within teams. Whether you're facing communication breakdowns, navigating change, or simply want to build cohesion in a fresh and meaningful way, this series gives your people the space to connect — with themselves, each other, and the lessons of the herd.

In the paddock, titles don’t matter. Connection does. And what you learn here, your team carries forward — into meetings, projects, and everyday interactions.

The horses are ready. Are you?

Let's work together. Contact us on the details below or complete the form and we'll get straight back to you.
